On the Saturday before Christmas, I had an ornament swap with my mom here at our house. Carter took the boys to his mom's house for some Christmas cookie making.
Truman got to meet his Uncle Chris for the first time
Walker, Leeza, Kaisey and Brandon all had fun with Mema's train.
A cute picture of Truman I had to share.
On Sunday, Truman was Baptized at church. Here is Walker posing for the camera
Truman is hiding while getting sprinkled, but I assure you, he was there...sleeping no less.
He is a bit blurry, but here he is after the fact getting walked through the sanctuary.
Family picture at the church...sans a missing Walker who was taken home early.
After the sprinkling we all headed to my parent's house for a wonderful luncheon. We had a huge crowd and yummy food to eat. It was a great time.
Carter and I decided that since we would be having 4 Christmases on the 25th, that we would have a family tradition of exchanging family presents on Christmas Eve morning. It was fun and it spread the holiday out nicely.
Later in the day we headed up to the Reed's house for a party and then got the boys home and dressed for bed and put Santa's goodies out for him. We convinced Walker to leave milk instead of beer and even though neither wanted to cooperate we got a picture of them under the tree with Santa's goodies.
Look at what Santa left for the boys!
Walker getting up on Christmas morning.
With the ever coveted Lawn Mower and Leaf Blower.
Truman also got into the act, too.
Truman had a great time playing with paper and bows while sitting in this box at my parent's house. We went over there right after our house to eat breakfast and have presents.
Mimi and Pappy got Walker a Plasma Car. Carter and I got our new camera. Truman got a Jumperoo (which he got before Thanksgiving)
After presents at my parents we went to Mema's house for lunch and presents. Here is Truman with Britney.
The calm before the storm
Uncle David and Uncle Roger playing with Brandon's Guitar Hero.
Walker and Leeza with their lunch.
Family shot
Aunt Erynn, Uncle David, Brandon and Kaisey gave Walker a Vet Hospital. He loved it.
Truman slept through all of the unwrapping (good boy), and after we loaded up the car, we headed to the farm for Christmas with my grandparents. Walker got a guitar from Gassy and Uncle Chuck.
He also tried his Vet skills on Arthur the cat (I can't believe he obliged!!)
Walker helped Chuck with our Christmas blessing. An amazing rendition of "Amazing Grace"
Truman dressed in his finest.
We are all trying to recover still. We had Christmas last night at my mom's house with her mom, "Gigi" tonight we will go to my mom's dad's house for Christmas there.
We are so blessed to have such good family and friends to celebrate the holidays with. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, too.
