Some cute things over the last week or so

On Monday morning, I was awoken by a wee little boy. He was carrying a pair of pliers and a Hickory Farms Summer Sausage. He said "Hi Mommy". I asked him if he wanted the Summer Sausage for breakfast...he hugged it up under his neck and said, "It's my favorite." Needless to say, he had Summer Sausage for breakfast.

Last night we were at my parent's house eating dinner. They have gotten their Christmas tree, but it is not yet decorated. Walker has been playing with a long strand of red beaded garland for the last week or so over there. He decided to put it on the tree. We were all preoccupied with Truman and his precious laughter we neglected to see Walker leave the room. He reentered dragging a large step stool behind him. He put it up at the tree and climbed it so he could reach the taller branches. He disappeared again a few minutes later and came back with a string of lights. He put them in a pile next to my dad. He proceeded to do this with the rest of the lights that he found in the light box in the other room. Then he moved his entire pile to the tree and then to the other side of the tree where he finished his project. He sure was busy.

In other news, Truman had his 4 month appointment yesterday. He weighed 18 lbs 3 oza and was 26 inches long. What a big boy. He also started sitting for longer that 3 seconds yesterday. He has done it for more than a minute at a time. He is still slumping alot, but he is getting better each time he does it. He is growing up so fast.
